Pack your duffel bags, grab your guitars and get ready to rock at Camp Rock; The Musical! Join Mitchie, Shane, Nate, Jason, Tess, Caitlyn, Dana and the gang for an all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza.

Camp Rock; The Musical combines your favourite songs and the characters you love from the Disney Channel movies Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2:The Final Jam into one funny, heartfelt and exciting theatrical experience.

Produced by Claire Tighe of TheatreworX Productions, this production will see students of TheatreworX Stage School & Academy joined on stage by professional singers and actors Eoin Cannon and Richard Taylor Woods and more special guest stars, to make this a production neither the students nor the audience will ever forget.

Dublin Ballet School presents an Evening of Dance 2012. Highlights of the show will include excerpts from Coppelia; A Tchaikovsky fantasy; The Jenkins suite and many other toe-tapping delights. Dancers from six years of age to adult level will take to the stage in a dance extravaganza that is sure to put a smile on your face and a pep in your step!

Please note this is a ballet school production and not a professional production.

The energetic and colourful team behind Oz Camp 2011 return with another fun-filled season of summer camps this year based around Annie the musical.
Once again these performing arts workshops will cater for children aged 6 – 18 years old, with the chance to take part in a live stage show of Annie Jr. The Musical! on the fourth week (8th – 11th August).

You’re never fully dressed without a smile … so come on down for laughter and fun times at Annie Camp this summer!

Whether your child signs up for all 3 weeks or just 1 week, they are guaranteed to have a fun-packed time, learning and developing new skills in the performing arts …

In the Morning … 10am – 1pm
Students will have 45 minute classes in:
DANCE: Styles will vary each day from jazz, hip hop, funky street, disco and tap.
SINGING: From pop tunes to showtunes!
DRAMA: Classes will focus on improvisation, script writing and direction.
CRAFT: Students will get to work on their own props and costumes for the set of Annie

LUNCHTIME (Provided by The Helix) 1- 2pm

In the Afternoon … 2- 4.30pm
Students will rehearse for Dublin’s biggest and brightest Summer musical … ANNIE Jr.– THE MUSICAL!
Registration fees this year are €100 per child per week.

Sean Gilligan Productions and Roisin Curran Drama School present: Showtime Theatre School ‘s ‘THE BEAT GOES ON.’ Following the huge success of their first annual show, the students of Showtime Theatre School in Clontarf will take to the stage to present what is promising to be a thrill-ride of music, dance and drama – from Annie to Grease, they will have you Singing in the Rain, playing with big toys of the Magical Toybox and grooving with the latest Bollywood moves and tunes. This is an event not to be missed for children’s musical theatre lovers. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Emmanuel 2012 – Celebrating Liturgical Music in Our Schools

Emmanuel is a project of the Dublin Diocesan Commission for Sacred Music and promotes the use of Sacred Music in Secondary Schools.

Over 40 Schools and their choirs will participate in a spectacular evening of music from this programme. The orchestra, massed choirs will be conducted by Ian Callanan, a member of the Music Commission.

A classic rock musical!

Seymour Krelbourn is a poor young man working at a run-down flower shop on skid row when he encounters a miracle. He discovers an alien plant after a total eclipse of the sun. After bringing the plant to the store, he gains fame, fortune, and love. The only defect is that the plant feeds on human blood. Join Seymour in his moral struggle as both he and the plant fight for survival!

The Moscow Ballet delighted audiences in Dublin, Drogheda, Cork & Limerick last October with their production of ‘The Nutcracker’. This year they will perform Tchaikovsky’s first ballet ‘Swan Lake’, an all time favourite with ballet lovers, it tells the story of Prince Siegfried and Princess Odette.

While hunting Prince Siegfried sees a magnificent swan, as he takes aim the swan turns into a beautiful  woman, this is Princess Odette, the victim of an evil sorcerers spell, she spends her daylight hours as a swan, swimming in a lake of tears, by night she becomes a woman again.

The spell will be broken only if a virgin prince swears eternal love to her.

‘Swan Lake’ is their story and only they can adequately  tell the whole story to you, so book your tickets now and prepare to be enthralled.

Spaghetti Western Orchestra makes a triumphant return to the UK with their hilarious celebration of the iconic collaborations between Sergio Leone and Ennio Morricone. This highly theatrical show features classic themes from The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, For A Few Dollars More and Once Upon a Time in the West as well as ingenious recreations of the saloons, spittoons and shotgun-slinging atmosphere of the ‘Wild Wild West’. The award winning DCU Fashion Show will take place on the 22nd of March, in the Helix. The show never fails to take our breath away and this year will be no different. Named, ‘Cobble Couture’, and inspired by the array of styles seen everyday on life’s catwalk; the streets.

The show boasts an variety of high street and designer labels, as well as the young designer competition in which student designers enter original designs, in the hope of winning the top prize.

This years show is in aid of Temple Street Children’s Hospital, a very worthy cause. Hosted by the beautiful Miss Ireland, Emma Waldron, it is set to be the show of the year once again. You simply can’t miss it.
