Submissions

What are we looking for?

The Helix is looking to encourage artists at the early stages of their career who are looking for a platform to exhibit their work. We are also welcoming established artists and groups with new work. Where possible, artists are advised to visit the exhibition area prior to making a submission.

What to include in your application?

Applications must be sent via post. Please include the following in your application:

  1. A covering lettering outlining your experience and an up to date CV.
  2. An indication as to the size of your exhibition, how many pieces are included in the exhibition, dimensions of the work, a description of the exhibition and the time of year you wish to exhibition.
  3. Please include 6 – 10 good quality images of your work on either a photograph or CD.
  4. Online submissions will not be accepted.

 

How long does an exhibition last?

Varies from 3-6 weeks – this is agreed at time of contract of exhibition. Please note that a submission does not guarantee an exhibition.
