Dear Valued Patrons of The Helix Panto,
As you are aware from the latest Government restrictions issued on Friday 3rd December, all indoor events must reduce audience capacity to 50% which is effective from 7th December 2021 until 9th January 2022.
We were in a grateful position of having many sold out shows thanks to you, our loyal supporters. However, we are now in the regretful position that we are mandated to reduce the numbers attending our shows.
We believe the fairest approach to reduce our audience numbers is to work on a first come first serve basis. Therefore, patrons who booked tickets after the 50% threshold was reached of any one particular show will regrettably be refunded and their ticket link will be invalidated.
Those bookers who are affected will receive an email confirming their refund as soon as possible. Please bear with us as we work through each show chronologically, starting with shows due to take place this weekend. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this logistical nightmare.
Those bookers who are not affected will receive no further correspondence and their tickets will remain valid.
Once all of the amendments are made to our booking system, we expect there should be some availability throughout the season, so we advise disappointed bookers to keep an eye on our website for new ticket releases.
All the cast and crew of The Helix Panto are devastated that this is happening after two weekends of full houses bringing joy and magic to all of our audiences. However, we must adhere to restrictions and to Public Health advice and reduce our audience numbers. We promise we will continue to bring the magic to our reduced audiences this Christmas and are so sorry to be disappointing so many of our loyal supporters.
