Celebrations were in the air on Friday 19th July as The Helix won ‘Best Purpose Built Venue’ at the 2019 Event Industry Awards. Recognising excellence in the conference and events industry in Ireland and encompassing areas such as major live events, corporate events, conferences, AV, catering and design, the gala event was attended by over 500 industry professionals at the Citywest Hotel.
With an esteemed judging panel made up of industry leaders and peer experts, over 120 teams and individuals were shortlisted across the 27 categories reflecting every aspect of world class event execution. Acknowledging excellence and showcasing the highest standards in Ireland’s event industry, The Helix scooped the ‘Best Purpose Built Venue’ award ahead of an array of nominees including the Aviva Stadium, Guinness Storehouse and the RDS.
